Autism Treatment Center and Licensed Childcare Facility
The Purple Room serves ourearly learners both typical as well as those effected by autism and related disorders. In this program, the children will learn attending skills, fine motor skills, language through requesting, and labeling, and be introduced to shapes, numbers, and letters.Potty training will be introduced using ABA therapy and positive practice.
The Red Room is specifically for those children effected by autism and related disorders. This program is referred to as our & skill builders classroom because it is a data driven program in a classroom environment. We provide individualized skills and goals for each child involved in this program while still teaching our weekly curriculum basedon the Pre-Kindergarten through 1st grade TEK levels.
The Blue Room is our kinder-readiness classroom.We are able to have a mixed age and mixed ability Kindergarten through 1st grade TEK levels. This program isdesigned to prepare individuals fortheir academic career by giving them the skills needed to succeed in a typical classroom environment. In addition to academics this program promotes social skills as well as daily living skills.
The Yellow Room is designed for those students that needa smaller ratio and more individualized teaching for grade levels 1st through 4th.This program focuses ondeveloping self esteemand giving students the confidence to complete academics as well as any activity they set their mind to. In addition to our daily academics we also management by teaching self regulation, social skills through various group activities such as board games, group instruction and team sports. Daily living skills and personal hygiene are also incorporated into this program.
The Green Room serves the older students and provides individualized academic plans for each student based on the TEKs. In addition to academics this program also focuses on behavior management by teaching self regulation, social skills through various group activities such as board games, group instruction and team sports. The students in the class also work on daily living skills, personal hygiene, transition training,and employment training.
The Orange Room is for thoseolder children that need more individualized attention. Data programs are designed for each student in this room focusing onndaily living skills and functional academics.
